Scope

We installed approximately 5,000 linear feet of 10-foot-diameter storage pipe at depths reaching 30 feet, set in a stacked configuration to manage wet weather flows. Our team also constructed a new header system to connect the storage piping to a pump station on Melbourne Avenue.

Unique Challenges

The project demanded removal of nearly 35,000 cubic yards of limestone to create space for both the pump station and the large-diameter pipe installation. Tight excavation tolerances and substantial rock excavation required careful sequencing and continuous coordination to maintain progress and ensure safe installation.
